  3. Songanizer is a registered copyright of Candlelight Software.

  5. Users of Songanizer v2.0 must accept this disclaimer of warranty:
  6. Songanizer  v2.0  is  supplied AS IS.  The author  disclaims  all
  7. warranties,  expressed or implied, including, without limitation,
  8. the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.
  9. The   author  assumes  no  liability  for  damages,   direct   or
  10. consequential, which may result from the use of Songanizer v2.0.

  12. Songanizer  v2.0 is a "shareware program" and is provided  at  no
  13. charge  to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share  it  with
  14. your  friends, but please do not give it away altered or as  part
  15. of  another system.  The essence of "user-supported" software  is
  16. to  provide personal computer users with quality software without
  17. high  prices,  and  yet to provide incentive for  programmers  to
  18. continue  to  develop  new products.  If you  find  this  program
  19. useful  and find that you are using Songanizer v2.0 and  continue
  20. to  use Songanizer v2.0 after a reasonable trial period, you must
  21. make  a  registration payment of $30.00 to Candlelight  Software.
  22. The  $30.00 registration fee will license one copy for use on any
  23. one  computer at any one time.  You must treat this software just
  24. like a book.  An example is that this software may be used by any
  25. number  of  people  and  may be freely moved  from  one  computer
  26. location  to  another, so long as there is no possibility  of  it
  27. being used at one location while it's being used at another. Just
  28. as  a  book cannot be read by two different persons at  the  same
  29. time.

  31. If,  after 30 days, you do not register Songanizer v2.0,  or  you
  32. find  that the program is not of use to you, you are required  to
  33. remove the software from your computer system.

  35. Commercial  users of Songanizer v2.0 must register  and  pay  for
  36. their  copies of Songanizer v2.0 within 30 days of first  use  or
  37. their license is withdrawn.

  39. You  are  encouraged to pass a copy of Songanizer v2.0  along  to
  40. your  friends for evaluation.  Please encourage them to  register
  41. their  copy  if  they find that they can use it.  All  registered
  42. users will receive a copy of the latest version of the Songanizer
  43. v2.0  system,  as  well  as a full year  of  Songanizer  updates.
  44. Registered  users  also receive a one year membership  to  Remote
  45. Host  BBS,  which can be used for support, software  updates,  or
  46. recreation.

  48. To  register, please print the file called REGISTER.TXT, fill out
  49. the  appropriate information, and return it with your payment  to
  50. Candlelight Software at the address given in the document.

  54. Candlelight  Software  warrants  the  physical  diskette(s)   and
  55. physical  documentation provided with the registered versions  to
  56. be  free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period  of
  57. ninety days from the date of registration.

  59. If Candlelight Software receives notification within the warranty
  60. period   of  defects  in  materials  or  workmanship,  and   such
  61. notification is determined by Candlelight Software to be correct,
  62. Candlelight  Software will replace the defective  diskette(s)  or
  63. documentation.

  65. The  entire and exclusive liability and remedy for breach of this
  66. Limited  Warranty  shall be limited to replacement  of  defective
  67. diskette(s) or documentation and shall not include or  extend  to
  68. any  claim  for or right to recover any other damages,  including
  69. but not limited to, loss of profit, data, or use of the software,
  70. or special, incidental, or consequential damages or other similar
  71. claims,  even  if  Candlelight  Software  has  been  specifically
  72. advised  of  the possibility of such damages.  In no  event  will
  73. Candlelight Software's liability for any damages to  you  or  any
  74. other  person  ever exceed the lower of suggested list  price  or
  75. actual price paid for the license to use the software, regardless
  76. of any form of the claim.

  78. CANDLELIGHT SOFTWARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES,
